This band inhabits a musical niche you’re unlikely to have come across before. Islanders, multi-instrumentalist Doug Cox and songwriter Steve Mitchell, played music together in their childhood. Fate pulled them apart for 30 years but 2024 reunited them to realize their long-term dream of playing in concert together. Their music is characterized by smart, emotional songs, stonesy country-blues, Hawaiian ukulele and steel soundscapes, and mystical prog-folk.
